My Final Post

Image
Hey everyone, welcome to my blog.  I can’t believe this is going to be my final post, time really does fly. I really found this course to be very beneficial and fun. I learned a lot of new information and tools that I am thinking of using in my future classes.  We had a lot of assignments in this course but my favorite one was AR/VR integrated teaching material. It was so fun to design a teaching material with my friends while getting to know how to integrate AR/VR into our materials. My least favorite task was the flipped teaching video. My partner and I struggled with that task a lot. It was hard to understand how we could make our video interactive but once we got feedback from our teacher it was easy.  This course was very beneficial for me as I got familiar with technology-integrated tasks. Overall I am very happy to have taken this course and I look forward to using what I have learned in my future classes. I couldn’t think of a suggestion that could improve ...

AI Integrated Teaching Material

Hey everyone, welcome to my blog.  For this week we were assigned to create an AI integrated teaching material. I partnered up with my friends Nehir Akgün and Defne Baskan . First we looked through the book that our instructor shared with us and picked an activity. We picked a writing activity from the book and for the pre-task we introduced the topic to our students. After that we explained the task to them. For the target task we asked the students to use an AI tool to get feedback on their paragraph. Finally as the post-task we asked them some questions about their experiences with the AI tools. Here's the material that we have prepared. Thank you for reading, take care💖

AR/VR Integrated Teaching Material

Hey everyone, welcome to my blog. For this week we were assigned to create an AR/VR integrated teaching material. I partnered up with my friends Defne Baskan and Nehir Akgün for this project. First we discussed what city we would like to introduce to our students and we picked New York. After picking our city, we talked about what tourist attractions we could use in our material. We decided to choose The Statue of Liberty, The Empire State and The Brooklyn Bridge.  We used Canva as our tool to create this material. We researched some information about these places and found their panoramic views and integrated it into our material. After that we prepared some questions for our students.  Overall this was a very fun assignment and I will definitely use AR/VR integrated teaching materials in the future.  Here’s the material that we have prepared. Thank you for reading, take care💖
